Trail Options

This trail starts off CO 105 and is pavement for the first mile.  It turns to dirt and heads uphill past a horse ranch and into Pike Nat. Forest which is open May to Nov.  It's well-traveled, and maintained yearly by the Nat Forest Service.  Great Views of Perry Park, Devils Head and Pikes Peak.

2 to 3 hrs.

This is a Network of interconnecting Trails near Decker's Corner off CO 67.  Most are easy, some are Moderate.  Multiple excellent views of Pikes Peak.

Terrain is mostly gentle and smooth, some are steep and bumpy, but there are lots of route options and connects to Dakan / Long Hollow Rds.

2 to 3 hrs.

This is a Network of interconnecting trails near West Creek and Woodland Park.  Open all year, mostly passable even in snow.

Most are easy and smooth, some are moderate, but smooth.

Some of this area is part of the Hayman Fire Area, so, much of it is barren, with limited trees.

2 to 3 hrs.

This series of three  out & back trails are SW of Westcreek and end at the S Platt River.

They are open all year, but some are not passible in the snow.  Two are moderate, one is difficult. Also part of the Hayman Fire area (see Rule Ridge description).  Views of Mt. Evans & Pikes Peak.

Each trail is 2 to 3 hrs.

This is a difficult, nerve-racking ride.  It's off US 285 near Grant and passes the Continental Divide at 12,099 feet with spectacular views and connects to Deer Creek Rd.

There are old mine sites, creek crossings and a very narrow shelf road.

Typically open late June to October.  Not for the faint of heart.

2 to 3 hrs.

There are four trails in this area with spectacular views.  Two start in Montezuma, two off Tiger Run near Breckinridge.  Moderate to Difficult, there are multiple interconnecting trails near the start of each.  These four all connect to each other around 12,400 feet.  Typically open May or June to Oct or Nov.

Each trail is 2 to 3 hrs.
